Negative Space

This study based on the artist Ileana Hunter specializes on the minimalistic use of space to accentuate the rest of the piece. Using the negative space to suggest there are hands present draws you into the rest of the piece. This multi month study based on a classmate involved gridding, charcoal pencils, and thick multipurpose paper.
